Skipulse Community Guidelines
Welcome to Skipulse.
Skipulse is a community for people who love skiing, snowboarding, mountains and the lifestyle around them. Whether you’re planning your first ski trip, chasing powder around the world or spending the whole season in the mountains — you’re welcome here.
Our goal is simple: help people connect, share experiences and make more of their time in the mountains.
To keep Skipulse useful, friendly and safe, please follow these guidelines.
1. Be Cool to Each Other
Treat other members with respect.
Different abilities, backgrounds and opinions are welcome. Personal attacks, bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats or hate speech are not.
Debate the topic — don’t attack the person.
2. Share the Stoke, Not the Spam
Share trip reports, snow conditions, questions, photos, recommendations, experiences and anything else that genuinely helps the community.
Don’t repeatedly promote businesses, services, websites or social accounts.
Spam, scams, misleading promotions and fake accounts aren’t welcome.
3. Keep Information Genuine
People use Skipulse to make real decisions about trips, destinations, jobs and mountain life.
Don’t deliberately post false or misleading information.
If you’re sharing something you’re unsure about, make that clear.
4. Mountain Safety Comes First
The mountains can be dangerous.
Snow conditions, avalanche risk, weather and terrain can change quickly. Information posted by Skipulse members should never replace official avalanche forecasts, resort information, professional instruction or qualified local advice.
Never pressure another member into skiing or riding terrain beyond their ability or comfort level.
Know your limits. Check the conditions. Respect the mountain.
5. Respect the Mountain
We’re here because we love the mountains.
Respect wildlife, local communities, ski areas and the environment. Follow local rules and leave places as good as — or better than — you found them.
6. Jobs & Opportunities
If you share a job, accommodation, seasonal work opportunity or similar offer, it must be genuine.
No fake jobs, misleading salaries, fraudulent accommodation offers, recruitment scams or requests for suspicious payments.
If something looks suspicious, report it.
7. Respect Privacy
Don’t share another person’s private information without their permission.
This includes addresses, phone numbers, private messages, personal documents and other information that wasn’t intended to be public.
Think before posting your own personal information too.
8. Post Content You Have the Right to Share
Only upload photos, videos and other content that you own or have permission to share.
Respect photographers, creators and other people’s intellectual property.
9. Keep Groups Relevant
Destination groups such as Chamonix, Niseko, Whistler, Åre and Verbier work best when discussions remain useful to people interested in those places.
Use the most relevant group and avoid posting the same thing across many groups.
10. Report Problems — Don’t Escalate Them
If you see harassment, spam, scams, dangerous misinformation or other content that violates these guidelines, please report it rather than starting a fight.

11. Moderation
To protect the community, Skipulse may remove content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
Depending on the situation, we may issue a warning, restrict features, temporarily suspend an account or permanently remove an account.
Serious abuse, fraud, threats or illegal activity may result in immediate removal.
12. One Last Thing
Skipulse should feel like meeting good people on a chairlift.
Share what you know. Help someone out. Find your crew. Chase some snow.
