SkiPulse is an online ski and mountain community for skiers, snowboarders and mountain enthusiasts. The platform helps users discover destinations, connect with other members, participate in communities and explore mountain-related events, jobs and opportunities.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SkiPulse. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

SkiPulse is an independently operated online ski and mountain community based in Sweden.

SkiPulse provides a platform for skiers and riders to discover destinations, connect with other members, participate in communities and explore mountain-related events, jobs and opportunities.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes, or allow your account to be used in ways that violate these Terms.

You may stop using SkiPulse at any time and may request deletion of your account, subject to any information we are legally or reasonably required to retain.

3. The SkiPulse Community

SkiPulse may allow users to create profiles, join groups, connect with other members, publish posts, upload photographs and other media, comment, participate in discussions, send messages and otherwise interact with the community.

Some profile information and content may be visible to other members or publicly visible depending on the feature and applicable privacy settings.

You are responsible for the information and content you choose to share.

4. Community Standards

We want SkiPulse to be a useful, welcoming and respectful mountain community.

You may not use SkiPulse to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse others.
• Promote hatred, discrimination or violence.
• Publish illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or intentionally misleading content.
• Spam users or repeatedly post unwanted commercial content.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Upload malware or other harmful content.
• Attempt to interfere with the security, availability or operation of SkiPulse.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data.
• Collect or misuse information about other users without appropriate permission.
• Post content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights.
• Publish fraudulent jobs, accommodation offers, events, marketplace listings or other opportunities.
• Use SkiPulse for unlawful activities.

We may remove content, restrict functionality, suspend accounts or permanently terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable community rules or applicable law have been violated.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create and upload to SkiPulse.

By posting content to SkiPulse, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, promote and improve the SkiPulse service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to anything you upload or publish.

This licence generally ends when your content is deleted from SkiPulse, except where continued retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution or where content remains as part of another user’s interaction or shared community discussion.

Deleting an account may therefore not automatically remove every reference to or interaction with previously published content.

6. Groups and Community Discussions

SkiPulse may provide groups relating to ski destinations, regions, interests, skiing styles or other subjects.

Group discussions, recommendations and other information contributed by members are primarily user-generated.

SkiPulse does not guarantee that information posted by members is accurate, current or complete.

Group administrators and moderators may moderate content in accordance with these Terms and applicable community rules.

7. Jobs and Employment Opportunities

SkiPulse may provide a platform where third parties and community members can publish job listings and employment opportunities.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, SkiPulse is not the employer, recruiter, employment agency or contracting party in relation to jobs advertised through the Service.

Job listings may be provided by third parties. SkiPulse does not guarantee or independently verify:

• The identity or legitimacy of an employer.
• The accuracy or completeness of a job listing.
• Salary or compensation information.
• Employment or working conditions.
• Accommodation arrangements.
• Visa or work permit requirements.
• The continued availability of a position.

Users are responsible for independently verifying employers and opportunities before applying, providing sensitive information, travelling, making payments or entering into an agreement.

Never send money or financial credentials solely because someone claiming to be an employer requests them through SkiPulse.

Employers and users submitting job listings are responsible for ensuring that their listings are accurate, lawful and not misleading. By submitting a job listing, the person submitting it confirms that they are authorised to advertise the position and that the listing complies with applicable laws.

SkiPulse may review, reject, edit, suspend or remove listings that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, misleading, inappropriate, unlawful or contrary to these Terms.

Publication of a job listing does not constitute endorsement, verification or recommendation of the employer or opportunity by SkiPulse.

SkiPulse is not responsible for recruitment decisions, communications between employers and applicants, employment agreements, payments, working conditions, accommodation arrangements or disputes between users and third parties, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Destinations, Events and Travel Information

SkiPulse may provide information about ski destinations, resorts, events, travel opportunities, businesses and other mountain-related activities.

We aim to provide useful information, but details may change without notice.

This can include:

• Resort information and statistics.
• Lift and terrain information.
• Event dates and schedules.
• Prices.
• Opening dates and operating hours.
• Travel information.
• External links.
• Availability of services or facilities.

Users should verify important information with the relevant resort, event organiser, business or other official source before making travel arrangements, purchasing tickets or relying on the information.

SkiPulse is not responsible for cancellations, schedule changes, inaccurate third-party information or other changes outside our reasonable control.

9. Mountain and Skiing Safety

Skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, freeriding and other mountain activities involve inherent risks.

Information shared through SkiPulse — including information about snow, weather, avalanche conditions, routes, terrain, resorts or mountain safety — may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated.

SkiPulse content should not replace official avalanche bulletins, weather information, resort information, professional instruction, appropriate safety equipment or qualified local guidance.

Conditions in mountain environments can change rapidly.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, preparation and safety.

10. External Links and Third-Party Services

SkiPulse may contain links to websites, booking services, employers, resorts, event organisers, shops or other services operated by third parties.

Third-party services operate independently from SkiPulse and may have their own terms, privacy policies and practices.

SkiPulse does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, transactions or content.

A link from SkiPulse does not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party.

11. Intellectual Property

The SkiPulse name, branding, logos, design and original platform content are owned by or licensed to SkiPulse and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit SkiPulse branding or original content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, photographs, content and names remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Copyright and Rights Complaints
